Default Calendar Permissions
By default, your calendar permissions are set to the Free/Busy time setting. This allows other people to check your schedule to see if you are available for meetings. This only specifies that your are free or busy and does not identify the reason for being unavailable.

To change your setting, click on Calendar in the Action bar. Then with the Home tab highlighted, click on Calendar Permissions in the Share group. The Calendar Properties window opens and you can click on the drop-down list next to Permission level.
